When I lived in Glendale and flew out of LAX I would always ride. I would stuff my stich into the larger saddle bag and either carry my helmet on board or put it into a locker ( still cheaper than car parking). I wish the San Diego airport would set aside cycle parking.

Sorry DJ,
If I knew everything about food I'd be retired with a stable full of bikes...and babes!
Oz is one of the few places I haven't visited in my travels..although it's near the top of the list.
Thanks for the recipe. I'll make some and issue a report.

Eric, I'm relieved you came through reletively unscathed. You're a helluva good rider as I recall. I understand this time of healing and self reflection as I recently walked a similar path following my crash. Please keep us all informed during your recovery and know that we're all right there with y...

A report by Professor Harry Hurt ( I know, I know) formerly of USC completed in 1996 and commissioned by the Dept. of Transportation concluded that lane sharing, when done safely ( driving no more than 10-15 mph faster than the surrounding traffic) is far safer than sitting in traffic behind a car (...

I have walked away from two serious accidents, the first a 70 mph crash after being knocked off my bike by an exploding trailer tire... landing head first on my RF 700 and the other recent low speed encounter with a woman an...

Dave,
Your bike is just...NASTY! Sexy, nasty! Have you named her yet? Maybe you should just name her "Miss Betty". That way when you're in the throes of passion with either one you won't get in trouble for chanting the other's name...not that that's ever happened to me.

Our thoughts are with you, and your family, during this time of change and transition. I lost my mother in '94 (Though I feel her guidance almost daily) and my father is battling both Parkinson's and lymphoma. Take solace in knowing that your father is now home.
