I keep a Battery Tender plugged into both of my bikes 24x7. I use a BMW spec tender for my R1100's gel type battery and a regular type tender for my Harley's lead/acid battery.

Nice mod. Why the 1.75 to 2-inch adapter? Seems the automotive aftermarket should offer a 1.75 inch chrome or stainless pipe tip. I mess around with old Corvettes. I might have some stainless tips in my parts bin.

Forget looking at the bike. If there's any doubt about ABS, or whether it's working properly, simply accelerate to about 30 mph, slam on the rear brake and see if the wheel locks up.

The simplest thing you can do to prevent wind from entering a helmet is to wear a neck warmer.
