Re: Fuseblock install question
I used the Centec AP 2 panel on my R1200R. The panel is connected to the battery with a fused supply. The power for the relay was taken from the tail light-the easiest accessable supply. The two unswitched power terminals are for my GPS and a power outlet to allow me to connect a battery charger. Th...

Re: R1200R Cover
Check out the EZ Touring Covers. A variety of styles available. Nice folks to deal with. Have had a number of their covers in the past. The last one finally gave out after 5 years. I replaced it with a new one at the MOA Rally.

Re: Just added Remus and PC Whooopeee!
Want to add a Remus to my R1200R to lower the muffler and get more space to mount my Jesse bags. I saw the pictures but need to know what kind of pipe you use between the Cat outlet and the Remus pipe. I would prefer not to cut the original pipe.

Re: back ache and bar risers
Bob's Bar Bax: I do not have the specific model number. The set I have was originaly on my K-75, then an R-100, then on a 2003 R1150R, and now on my 2008 R1200r. Give the parts guy at Bob's a call and tell him you want a set that fits the diameter of the 1150 or 1200 bars. You may need a different l...

Re: back ache and bar risers
I have used the Bob's BMW Bar Bax on a number of bikes. I currently have them on my 2008 R1200R. They require no changes to the wiring, plumbing or cables. The raise the bars about 1" and set them back about 1". When you install them you need to position the bars in the most comfortable se...

Re: Oil change frequency for R12R
I agree with Don. The 6K interval is more than sufficient for the modern engines. The folks at 441 may have been in the business since dirt was invented but the only reliable tech in that shop (Raymond) retired a few years ago. Everyone else there is either a sales person or family member interested...

Re: Wrist-Rest with GS Handguards?
I prefer the Bob's Wrist Rest. I have used them for a number of years on many different bikes. If you have handguards you will need to order the version for the GS bike. I moved my current Wrist Rest from my R1150R that also had handguards with no problems, but you will need longer bolts than those ...

Re: Aftermarket Sidecases/Saddlebags for the R12R
This is why I bought the R models. 1100, 1150 and now 1200. I am short legged and this bike fits me. Even the lowered GS is too tall and top heavy. Also, the handling and gearing of the naked R bikes is much better for highway driving. I like the Jesse bags because I can carry most of the weight low...

Re: Aftermarket Sidecases/Saddlebags for the R12R
Has anyone mounted Jesse Odysey I bags on a R1200R. I had them on my R1150R using the mounts for a R1150GS. These mounts do not fit my R1200R. Before I start hacking and welding, I would like to hear from someone who has tried (successfully !!!) to mount the bags on a R1200R. The Jesse's are great b...

Jesse Bags on a R1200R
Has anyone mounted Jesse Odyssey 108 Litre bags on a R1200R. I had them on my R1150R using R1150R GS mounting hardware and had minimal problems mounting them. I want to put them on my new R1200R but Al Jesse does not know if the mounts for a R1200GS will fit the R1200R. Any suggestions will be great...
