Cool, so a Gold Bond Medicated wet wipe AND a Benadryl may be in order. Thanks. I carry a little hand-held siphon for Sportsters along-side the road out of gas, a little electric compressor for VW trikes with an air suspension (and a leak), my tire plugger kit for folks with flats, bottles of water ...

Bee stings & Benadryl
More and more often, closer and closer to home...... it's no longer as distant as it once was. - Motorcycle riders' (bad) reaction to bee stings - I was on a ride with a group of riders, two of us at the back of the pack on an isolated road, suddenly the guy in front of me pulls over and whips his h...

DJ..... The image you posted has indeed whet my interest. It got me excited and had me punching all sorts of search engines for another image..... couldn't find anything. As I see it, that headlamp is about the only thing that remains a mystery, the rest of the bike makes sense. (Although, we can ex...

Phil...... Thank God I don't have to answer to my cats. They given up looking for ANYTHING fascinating (while they sit at the kitchen door) about why I wrench, wax, adjust, wipe, take apart, readjust, sit on, gaze at, and otherwise polish an already shiny bike. I too feel compelled to use something ...

Check your oil level as often as you want, under a variety of conditions, hot OR cold...... - BUT - There is only one correct time/way to check and be assured of having the proper amount of oil: 1) The engine must have been running for at least 20 minutes around town or on the freeway. 2) Swing your...

Buy yourself a Tire Plugger kit and an electric compressor, I repaired quite a few flats out on the open road and was on my way withing the hour. I have inner tubes with my spoke wheels on the current bike, can't plug 'em....... so I carry a bottle of Slime, but may choose to carry a can of fix-a-fl...

Over 58,000 miles on a single sparker '02. Upon the close of the warranty, the starter had to be replaced..... that's about it. I rode the hell outa that bike, spinning it up like it was an R1. Seafoam was added to the gas every 2,000 miles, oil changed at either 3,000/6,000/12,000 miles with a 25,0...

I would guess that the new R1200R will be a more expensive alternative to the F800, but it will not get the much dreamed about power of the R1200S. I don't think they want the Roadster to steal any of the thunder out from under the Sportier R1200S Boxer..... Because it will be a heavier power-to-wei...

leno, I believe the same screen can be had via JC Whitney for a mere $60.00, in fact I just ordered one for a project Bonneville I've got going. It doesn't offer much protection, as it is meant to be crouched behind at high speed. I found that it seemed to make my bike more directional and afforded ...

jimcameron, I am loving my BonnieBlack, but the tube tires have me riding scared (of a puncture/flat)! Forged wheels are becoming available for the Bonnie's, but they're cost prohibitive.... or are they? The tube wheels is about my only complaint with the bike. I can't understand it, only 61 horses ...

...... whatever gains your confidence. I (virtually) chased my cylinder down range once while competing in the Police Games held at San Diego one year. I've also had my cylinder lock up on me, and an (incorrectly loaded) reload get caught between the cylinder and the forcing cone. Revolvers can jam....
