Fitted the box and rack, really pleased with it.

Re: Mounting System Case topcase on Rockster
Ricey, like your made up luggage rack for the BMW case.
Unfortunately just seen it after buying a Givi mount and Givi metal Trekker topbox, which is being delivered today.
Just started riding my Rockster again after only doing 1 mile on it in the last 3 years (to get it MOT'd).

Re: Oil Consumption
It's dependant on a lot of factors, monthly mileage, how it's ridden and the mileage of the bike.
Best thing is to keep an eye on it.

Re: Exhaust wanted UK
Well took me 7 months, but that's the 'Y'piece and end can fitted.
Just won a set of Ohlins shocks on eBay, so will fit them as soon as I get them, things are looking good now.
Just need new tyres and I'm ready to ride, pity the weather is crap up here.

Re: Recall
I find it strange as they mention bikes from 11/03 to 2011.
The R and the K changed completely in that time as regards drive train and engines with the new R1200 and new K1200 inline 4.

Don't think BMW owners go to Moto Guzzi on mass, but I can see the appeal as they are both quirky and niche.

Wiring harness
I have tried to search to see where folk cut the cable ties fixing the wiring harness near the headstock, but can't find the post.
Could somebody who has done this take a photo showing the area of the cutting so I can see what cable ties to cut.

Re: Baglux Cover
Excellent, thanks for that, not the photos I had seen but these are better.
Had fitted it in the mean time and just need to sort out the strap that goes around the headstock as it catches on the ignition barrel.

I know what you mean, Lennies Roccket Sprockets might be tempting, but being realistic you can't expect much from this engine, best to just enjoy what you got.
