Check for blown fuses as well as the fuel line for bents (when you put the tank back, you may have accidentally caught the fuel line between the tank and something). Is the socket hard-wired to the battery terminals without any switch in between in R1150R? Yes, unswitched (always hot) through a 15 amp fuse in the fuse block which also supplies the clock. The side stickers come off easy, took me about 15 minutes for both sides, no discoloration no marks...




It's that stupid warning sticker under the gas cap I haven't managed to get rid off...

There is no EZpass tag for motorcycles in these parts, our version is a magnetic card that we simply hand to the toll booth guy

More than a year later I went through with it, paid 270 Euro and had the kit installed ! The R now sounds much sexier (the air intake sound is really cool!) and the throttle reacts much better and smoother now ! Haven't really checked gas consumption yet, but who cares as long as the R runs better :...
