:D Ok guys called BMW of NA and they could not find an actual service bulletin... Because one does not exist. This problem is not considered to affect the performance of the R so they never issued a service bulletin, however... there is a service (warning) as my dealer called it that is NOT OPEN END...

I had the same problem the dealer used a zip tie, and then cleaned the area with plexus no more scratch but I hate the electrical tie!!!

Thanks for the help, got the mirrors, mounted them in about 1/2 hour and the difference is awesome. I even see behind better! Now can anyone tell me how to load a pic up on this site? Thanks

Thanks alot! I was hoping it was something that simple I will be picking up the mirrors todat and will hopefully be able to post some picks by tomorrow, cant wait to get tehat changed, the bike is so much better looking without those damn lollypops!
