Re: whose using a EBC rear rotor
MD 653 is specified for all the R1150R models at the rear, starting with the 2001 model. Galfer also sells a SS wave rotor, DF701W for the same application. It is a few dollars more than the EBC. I would also check with www. beemerboneyard.com thanks for the feedback....the boneyard is out of rotor...

Re: where is the best place to get parts
I think you're pretty much SOL with respect to that kind of aftermarket part. I second AndyRR's request for pictures (and narrative) of the job. Charlie Too bad..when i had my 96 ducati ss/sp i replaced the stocker with a billet yoyodyne piece that had a bigger bore...oh ya and also worked better a...

Re: do i have a serious clutch problem?
The cam chain tensioner on my 02 R makes the most noise when decelerating on an uphill grade after pulling in the clutch. Makes a hell of a racket until I blip the throttle a few times. I am swapping it with the upgraded version during my slave cylinder & clutch friction disc replacement. My cl...

Re: do i have a serious clutch problem?
I suspect the rattling may be the left side cam chain tensioner. My R1150R occasionally makes a loud rattle on the left side of the engine.
