The R1200R headlight (for me) i find is very good, not outstanding, but it does the job what its ment to do. Don't get me started oops! too late .. an aussie list Sheep - one is bad (unpredictable) - a mob is worse. I've had a large mob spill onto the road around me like a woolly river - had singed wool on BOTH exhaust pipes (this was a 1982 Ducati 900SS) .. and on a loose gravel raod, I was a tad .. um ....

Damm shame about the weather mate, as we all know doing a multi-day trip there is always a chance of riding into crap, mind draining, why do the storm gods hate me sort of weather but glad you came out of it in one piece.

Mate, you are better of replacing it before your trip otherwise it will be on the back of your mind throughtout the trip.
I just replaced mine because i 'felt' it was time too, & thats with 35k's & 2yrs old.
