Re: rockster riders
G'day Razz, I'm from Canberra, pics all taken around there, about 10-15 mins ride from home. I took some more last night - amazing sunset at the end. http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4036/4348758230_e342d7d32e_o.jpg The tank cover was on the bike, covering up some dents from its earlier history (I did...

Re: rockster riders
Hi There, Not in WA, but a new Aussie Rockster rider nevertheless. Very happy with my bike. I luckily picked it up at a very good price indeed and it gives me the absolute luxury of comparing it with my other ride, a Ducati ST3 sports-tourer. Here are two pics I took on a photographic foray this eve...

Re: gday all. new member
Update on previous post. Have now done about 400kms in two days since getting the back back from the shop on Monday. Riding in the evenings around the local twisties. What a great bike the Rockster is !! Compared with my Duke ST3 it's like chalk and cheese, but both get the blood flowing with their ...

Re: East Australia R1200R Riders
Isn't it a bit specific to be restricting it to R1200R riders?
What's a little 50cc amongst friends?

Re: A matter of the utmost importance...
...Nice Honda - is that a CB400F? Friend of mine had one of those in high school, my first high speed ride on that nearly cost me my life ("what is this countersteering crap all about anyway? I couldn't possibly need to know how to do that in my first 80mph corner..." - thought a ...

Surely that is a better option? Ohlins will only increase in cost, paint less so when you get the next opportunity.

Re: Leather Tank cover
I have the Bagster faux-leather one and I like it. I also love that picture of your Rockster in the snow :P I also bought my Rockster with a Bagster cover fitted. I have now used a total of 4 Bagster covers and bags (4 diff bikes, the same bag swapped across all bikes) and have always been happy wi...

Re: gday all, another new Aussie member
I have been the owner of an 03 model Rockster since 7 January. It immediately needed a trip to the local renowned repair shop, for a fix to a slipping clutch - explained as being due to a leaking gearbox seal. I hope to pick her up again in a couple of days. She has only 19000 kms on the clock and I...
