Re: Time Clock Not Vertical
dont think so, Im gonna go check after work....pretty sure that would drive me BONKERS. for instance: My FZ-1 had been dropped while unloading from a truck, and bent a single bracket, the tiny fairing was crooked by like 1/4" Bothered me every time I rode it, and I went crazy trying to fix it ...

Thanks WineGuyd, its the part that attaches to it that goes under the seat over the tire, I have the existing part repaired but would not mind replacing it as I am selling the bike.

Re: Clutch slipping in high gear
Cycle Rob helped me ( I guess it was more of me watching and helping him ) split my bike and lubed the splines as well as other maintenance at 53k, was a lot of work suggest keeping up with photos along the way, I was worried that my clutch was about gone but it measured to have at least half life l...

Re: Brake Hoses on R1150 R
My r850 is a 1997 and a lot of the hoses have gone bad , fuel lines that have poured down to a hot exhaust and sizzled that will get your attention ! This happened 3 times the first time a hose split the next two times it was because of inferior clamps that I bought from AutoZone, CycleRob helped me...

Re: Brake Bleed Question (rear brake feels soft).
Look up CycleRobs posts on brakes if you want to correctly maintain your brakes , he got my brakes to work great with a few maintenance procedures and I have a older 1997 without abs. They work smoothly with the brake pads wearing evenly and brakes strong no mushy feeling. Btw the stainless brake li...

Re: 1150 wheel fitment question
Hi Poppou I ride a 97 R850 and have had similar thoughts but the bike is still growing on me after a couple of years, I wish it had more power although as CrazyCam said it does everything I need ,I am not a big fan of the three spokes, although they are easy to maintain. At over 54k the engine purrs...

I have bar backs and risers on my R850 and they make the cables tight just make sure they are not " Ty-Wrapped " too tight.

Re: Awful transmission noise
Make a rough meter as CycleRob suggested and a manometer for a total of less than $10-15 and use the rest for a new farkle. They are so simple to make and fun to use and what a sweet sound as the bike comes into "tune".
Enjoy
