Not to confuse the issue but some later model motorcycles use mineral oil for the hydraulic clutch systems....don't mix it up...know what grade fluid goes where on your motorcycle, auto, tractor or whatever.

Is the alternator charging the battery? Are all the battery connections clean and secure? Is the battery itself in good shape? Have it load tested.

It won't be long before those pipes are blue and gold again. Jet Hot ceramic coating will keep them from corroding and they'll always look good and never turn color.

Change all fluids before even attempting to start the engine, operate the clutch or operate/squeeze the brake levers. Drain and clean the fuel tank.
