Re: Shift Linkage Maintenance
Hi, I'm just about to do this maintenance this weekend. One of you above mentioned simply using motor oil -- any idea whether what you lube it with matters? Why not a light synthetic grease or something?

Highway pegs
You know, I'm loving this bike. I've done a few mods so far, and I've got some on the way. I'm getting new Yacugars lowered suspension (-.75") and that's got me thinking... I'm good with an hour or so in one position but I've been sticking my legs out over the cylinders on the highway for some ...

Re: sw-motech engine guards, removal
Not really, but as I was doing only one side at a time perhaps thats why. I had no need to test it with both sides out at the same time.Dr. Strangelove wrote:did you see any sag of the engine?

Re: sw-motech engine guards, removal
I just recently installed mine and called Twisted Throttle before doing so. I was also concerned about the weight bearing aspect. The service tech said to just put it on the center stand and do one side at a time. It will be fine. So, the opposite process, reinstalling the original bolts -- just fin...
