somewhere ther is an article about pinning the lower bag mount w/1/4" clevice pin I've done this to all the 1150's (3) and my 1200r it's a must do ihmo

I get similar results using NAPA chrome polish & 2' of sisal rope , loop rope once around pipe & pull back& forth ..viola takes about a beer per side YRMV :smt040

clutch lever micro-switch

late in the riding season last yr. my bike wouldn't start in gear when you pulled in the clutch lever . it was about 25-30 deg.C ..started fine in neut. I didn't worry much & thought it might be temp related ..while putering in the shed over the snow season seems if I bentthe tang on the clutch ...

Bike bump-started very easily ,used 2nd gear as always (you do use 2nd gear don't you?) w/a slight push @ it fired right up ,perhaps it's the superior quality of the wally- mart emf box to the fatherland exide emf-less container !! now thats a scary thought ...in case of panic break cap & remove...

Date of mfg is 04-07 delivery date is mid oct.07 mi 9,856 it arived @ dealer a couple wks before & everyone (me & dealer) waited for paper work to land from NJ so I could go to the dmv ..this am.w/a fluke dvom batt.reads 12.55v but won't light a test light!!!I remember when as a youth I work...

I got a black w/pinstripe one had the side panels & ft.fender striped to match then clearcoated the whole thing it draws a fair amount of attention & seems more durable than the stock finish ..For this kinda $$$ the factory shouda steped up w/a better finish but I've said this since I bought...

Out for a ride on Sun. & stop at a fuel sta. I dont need ,but others do..pull over to the side & shut the bike off,when I go to restart I got nothing !!! no pre-start check (light & guage action) no click,whirr,nothin!!! when I turn the key off I get the clock & odo.to briefly flash ...

1$125 is a little pricy for a switch..On my 1150r's i had an xtra sw. inside the handguard on the left sidedouble stick tape worked fine..& you could index finger it!!! I haven't yet up-farkeled to the point of needing more sw.gear , but my tandy 64k cerebrum is werkin on it!!! thanx fer the 411...

I'm using a gerbing vest w/collar delete (saves $10) as I have no-neck & a pair of heated socks w/dual controler ,and I'm pretty comfy even @ 18-20deg f. !!!! also I've got gs hand guards w/added 2" wings on top , w/heated grips I see no need for htd gloves!!! the hand guards olso keep me m...
