Re: Just bought a basketcase Rockster
Welcome! Congratulation! It sounds like you have an Edition 80. Since you have other bike projects you may want to consider getting it running good in stock form and as you learn more about it, do your mods. Keep the ABS. There are Facebook pages for Rocksters and Edition 80. I'm in East Texas. K

Re: Help picking out a tank bag
Thanks for all the replies. I decided to hold off for awhile and see what I really need. I'd like the case for my camera and lens, so something padded and waterproof would be great. I've found I don't take the camera out of the panniers and thought I'd use it more if stored in a tank bag.

Heated handle bars are a nice feature
My first long ride on the Rockster turned out to be a breakdown. 450 miles from home, but luckily 16 miles from the destination, the fuel lines broke loose inside the tank and the bike quit. My Daughter and her boyfriend came with truck and trailer and we brought it to Alamo BMW for repair and the 6...

Help picking out a tank bag
I just bought my Rockster 6 weeks ago and in the process of outfitting it. I started out on a 1,000 mile run last weekend from DFW to Cotulla TX. I broke down 15 miles out with bad fuel lines, but that's another story. Bike is at Alamo BMW for repair and I bought a plane ticket to get home. I packed...
