So it is just reflection from the road-lamps then ? They look shiny ? almost like S/steel or chrome.

Re: Can anything make the R1150r louder?
It seems that [due to design] ? the flat twin tends to be 'quiet' . Add cylinders and the not just the DB's go up...but the 'sound / tone' do as well....look at [ok listen to] the Valkyrie , then the six/cyl Porsche , flat twelve Ferrari etc........ As I recall though Air-Heads had more sound & ...

First & foremost I agree with the others here......see a doctor. Second...maybe , maybe...it is stress related ? Are you relaxed during your rides ? Just for kicks, take your pulse before, during, and after......But more importantly see a doctor.

Re: Will GS hubs fit an R1150R
It won't copy / past...at least for me...But found a place called 'BMW E-Store' They do list / show, wire spoke wheels with what appears to be p/numbers ? No photo , but might well be worth a call.
They are an advertising vendor on the BMW K1200LT Luxury Touring site.

Re: Will GS hubs fit an R1150R
No part numbers, so I sent this email too them... On your site, & in the catalog, there is a R1150R "Classic" shown with wire-spoke wheels. Are these wheels available ? Are they GS wheels ? Thanks, Ron This is what I received . Edward Plam <edward@wunderlichamerica.com> 3:50 PM (3 hour...

Anyone tried one ? Just considering options, & thinking their optional "pop" vents might help with 'buffeting' ?

Gee...odd response from them. I wonder if there is a liability problem ? I mean the wheels clearly show on their site, and just checked a catalog I have and they show in that as well ?
I read you post above,....it is amazing how many BMW folks do not recognize the model ?

Re: 80's fairings
Tried that...got a whole page of ????
Best option I can think of is...just google it for yourselves ?
Fallert Fairing on a BMW...is where i found it. It displays a series of photo's the fairing will catch you attention, it is on a black Roadster.
BTW...that is the same Shoei fairing I have.

Re: 80's fairings
Speakin'a "80's" ? fairings. I have seen photos of an Oilhead with what was said to be a Fallert fairing on it. It is a "med" sized fairing....larger than , say an "S" fairing, but at the same time not large. And IMO very nice looking. I have googled it a bunch.....but ...

Re: 80's fairings
I can see where it would be more 'involved' on a Rockster...but the Roadster will be a bit more straight forward [easier] ? The T/signals will likely require some thought ? I'm not 'unhappy' with my touring shield , but...IMO always room for improvement...:) It'll fit a 7" headlight nicely. Th...

80's fairings
This was originally posted Feb,2014...... "Oh my lordy lord.... I've got one of those Shoei fairings in the garage - never seen another one ever! If anyone's tempted - those Shoei fairings are actually rather good." If the OP, or anyone has a photo of a Shoei FM-3 mounted on a Roadster ? W...

If you go to the Wunderlich site you'll see two Roadsters with 'wire-spoke' wheels. Perhaps contact them ? and asked about those ?

Re: Will GS hubs fit an R1150R
Thanks mate, This is the sort of stuff I'm after. Woody's Wheels have said if the hubs fit they can do the 3.5 and 5 x 17" rims. I have taken a chance and bought a second hand front hub. I am really hoping I can pull this off. If I supply the hubs (if they fit) Woody said $500 -600 per wheel. ...
