never mind, the top reack sides have to be removed then the saddlebags fit. Although the rear section of the seat does not sit down as far. More investigation.

Installing SHAD Saddlebags on R1100RS. Move rear indicators?
Just picked up a set of used Shad saddlebags with the brackets. Older set but in great condition. I offered them up to my R1100RS that they are designed for. The rear turn signal indicators are in the way. Has anyone done this installation or similar were the turn signals have to be moved?
