Off topic?

Are you using this vest for riding in your automobile? If not, it's motorcycle related... not 'off topic'.

It can be a REAL problem to post in the wrong forum...

Trying to help.

The optional ABS system is unique to this model, weighing in at just 3.3 lbs, and can be deactivated for track work.

That'll be a crowd pleaser around here!

Banishment

I was threatened by Doug with banishment LONG ago for what still escapes me as any offense.... I don't know if anyone else has had such a threat put so directly to them, but if guest did then I do understand trying to hide. I was told by Doug that if I said "... anything that offended anyone......

My sister had it done a few weeks ago and isn't happy... vision in intermittently good/bad... As for the 'halo' effect, that apparently can be quite bad and causes many EXTREME distress.... (rainbows around all lights at night)... I'd get SEVERAL opinions, not be pressured to have it done on the spo...

It's always been Doug's policy that this board should be a no-nonsense question and answer place... he only agreed to Pat's area grudgingly... and then made it a pay to play place. Although many of you like to think of this board as a fun frolick, it is barely tolerated as such... Doug (in my opinio...

No all

Well I'm an American, have lived in California all my life, except for brief exits....

I say 'a quarter to', or 3:45.

I say 'I'll have..."

I wouldn't say I 'need', I'd say 'I'll have'

I'd 'make' a sandwich, not fix one.

Like most generalizations, it's often generally NOT accurate.

Acacia: I guess you can now get one of Lance's $80 helmets to replace the Arai!! The point of the article and all those scientific tests was that those particular helmets performed as well or better than the expensive ones... duh. As in many of the responses you'll hear on this board, people will offer an opinion, even when they have NO data to back it up. I've used the 'string type' patch (for lack of a better description) with lots of patch glue to slime them up, and have never even had a slow leak. A dozen times in car tir...

I think it's clear that it's some sort of illusion. It has to be a consistent effect or their would be some strange black hole speed where magic occured.

I agree, wait for the scientist to explain this.

Must agree with DJ, although more vigorously... windshields are UGLY, and should be outlawed.

I'm sure someone will recommend a windshield for you, but rest assured it will be UGLY.
