Has anyone tried Bobs BMW peg lowering kit.

I have had my R for about 2.5 years and it only has 3000 miles on it. At the dealer one says go with 6000 service and onother guy says wait for 6000. Reason for low milage is have had three surgerys including Open Heart and I ride my DR650 a lot. I think i am going to have them do a 6000 service but...
