Re: Need help mtg BMW factory Sport windshield to 2012 R1200

Terry: Take the headlite off, ( just lower it onto the fender ) then look up underneath the instrument cluster and you'll see the two threaded holes where the bracket screws into..

Re: New - Acerbis Hand Guards for R1200R

The Acerbis bar end wt slips over the threated tube just like the bmw wt. You sure you got the right Acerbis h/guards for the R12R. Mine were Acerbis part# 0013486.090.

Re: New - Acerbis Hand Guards for R1200R

My Acerbis h/guards came with their own short, stubby bar-end wt. You take the BMW one off and install the Acerbis one along with the handguard with the provided bolt. 2 minutes per side.. I ordered mine from NipNorman. $113.00 at the current exchange rate, shipping inculded to the N. GA. mountains....

Re: Has anyone tried the Laser exhaust?

I bought the polished aluminum duo-tech model ($390) about two months ago and really like it. It comes complete with the mid-pipe and all hardware including two baffle inserts; one for quiet, and one for loud. The muffler fit perfectly with no bending, banging, or cussing. The muffler clamp was chee...

Re: Windshields

You can try mine out anytime. I live in Hiawassee, GA., so you can't be too far away.

After spending the big bucks for the Trophy, I wouldn't be without it, and I'll bet the Wudo is just as good. :)

Re: 25 month failure on 24 month warranty

I installed this battery today and it fit perfect-like it was made for the R12R. It's a glass matt battery. You dump the juice in, then seal it up for life. The poles are in the right position and it seems to crank the engine over fine. For 43 bucks plus 13 shipping, it seems like a decent deal. :sh...

Re: Wunderlich 'R1200R Trophy' special / fairing

$800 bucks isn't much worse than buying four different tall windshields, none of which work very well and turn your beautiful little roadster into a 'granny-style' motorcycle. That Trophy makes the R12R look like a modern R90S and that's cool.. :D

Re: Fairing

The Wunderlich 'Trophy' fairing is also available now from Wunderlichamerica.com, but they want $699.00 for the unpainted version. The Wudo one from NipNorman should be approx. $400.00 US after deducting the 15% VAT tax, then calculating the exchange rate. ( today 1US $=.7L ). I tried to buy one fro...

Re: 1200R in White

I wood like to e-mail Wudo and see if there really is a U.S. importer, but can't find an english conversion on their web-site, and don't understand any of it, so it would be hard to order direct. ( At least for me ). Any ideas?? :?

I tried to order one of those Wudo Fairings from our good friend Nip Norman, but he said he couldn't send to the US because we already have an importer. I wonder who it is.. :?
