Sargent seat review

Got my world sport performance high seat on Tuesday evening, got about 6 hours of riding yesterday and it is great. Very comfortable, great position on the bike, gives me a bit more leg room and is firm enough to offer real support. My wife likes the rear portion though she did not get the extended ...

Don't see this posted previously, Sargent seat website shows a seat for our bike in development. You can get an email notification when it arrives on their site.

Re: Is this forum dead?

The mounting brackets are different than the ones for the R12LC. I would like a set of the smaller bags but not at the expense of new mounting hardware and not being able to swap out large or small bags without changing hardware.

random google search. its from the k1200 or f800 models. Im just wondering if you can fit that style to a 1200 LC
I think I saw a kit to mount the F800 bags listed on A&S BMW website.

For fuel mileage, over the last 30 tanks I am averaging 52.9 mpg.

Re: R1150R v new R1200R LC

Mine is at around 2600 miles now, I love it more every time I ride it, previously had 1150GS, 1200GS, 07 R1200R, 13 R1200R, Yeah and an R100S and R100RS. This is by far the best even though I really loved the RS. The new R doesn't even use any oil! All of my other oil heads managed to use some, a fe...

Re: The Radiator

I'd love to say something negative about mine.......let me think about it for a while, I'm sure I can come up with something. Oh yes, no backrest available for my wife, hmmm, wasn't one for my 13 R12R either, oh and there is one in the works from Pirates Lair for the RLC. Ok, I'm just going to think...

Re: Riding 2 up on new LC

Pirates Lair is showing a backrest for the R1200RS LC coming in 2016 which I assume will work on the R. I've got a Pirates Lair for an ST1100 that I'm going to try to adapt. My wife has not ridden yet because I don't have a backrest installed.

Re: New Cordoba Blue

Yes linked brakes using front but rear is separate using the foot pedal alone. Sorry no pictures, too busy riding, washing, waxing, repeat as required. OTD price would probably not be too relevant because it was the dealers demo (ridden only by dealer folks and me) and the trade in of my 13 R1200R k...

New Blue probably my all time favorite bike!

After a few days and some time on all kinds of back roads I'm starting to consider the possibility that this might be my all time favorite for bikes I've owned. Old Blue (2013 R1200R) was stretching to get into the top 10, I actually liked my 2007 R1200R better than the 2013 although Old Blue should...

New Cordoba Blue

Went to the dealer today to demo an new LC R1200R, was going to take the FZ-07 since it is more fun to ride but decided to take my 13 R1200R so I would have a good baseline for the differences. The bike was so much better (to me) that the 13 R stayed and the LC R came home with me. This was the firs...
