I have one fitted to a rockster.
My son rides on the back and finds it ok
its location does inpinge on seat space though. This was fine when he was smaller but I will have to fabricate something to move it back now he is getting bigger.

Re: Which of these oils should I use on a low-mile 1150r

Oil is cheep so change it often
I would rather use a cheeper dino and change it twice as often
but as my milage is limited these days its would be yearly whatever oil I used

Re: Off Road tyres for Rockster

just check the speed rating on the tyre
but any dual purpose tyre will be good
but you need to match thr tyre to thr terrain and your riding
me i like metzlers :)

Re: Need help on extending brake and shifter levers

why not just move your feet back a little on the footpegs if your riding on your insteps with the heal of your boots up against the back of your footrest thenwhy not just add a packing piece to the back edge of your footrest. however for better control you should be riding with the balls of your fee...

Re: Backrest/Topcase opinions

I went with a top box and rear pad to rest against I found that with the Givi box and kit that works with the bmw side cases it reduces the space for the pillion and hence for the rider using a cheep chineese top box with the givi base plate solved the problem but the box is smaller and will only ho...

Re: Rockster or Regular?

here in the Uk the rockster is usually cheeper than the std bike on the 2nd hand market but I like the quirky looks so that swung it for me IMHO The Ohlin shocks will be a great investment and worth paying extra for both bikes have luggage so no difference there and a top box is cheep The most signi...

Re: Removing spray paint.

I would use celulose thinners on a rag to remove most of the aresol paint and finish off with T cut or a similar paint cutting compound and then wax polish

It has worked for me in the past
