I've been running PR3 tire front and rear tires on my R1150R. It's time for a new rear tire, but the PR3 170/60-17ZR doesn't seem to be available. What rear tire can I get that will mate well with my PR3 front tire?

Here's a small refinement on what others have said. When engaging first from neutral at a stop, pull the clutch lever all of the way in, then release it slightly while pushing down on the shift lever. It'll engage first with a little clunk.

We experience similar temperature ranges in Southern California. I've used Castrol 20W/50 in my bikes for 35+ years with no ill effects. With the R1150R, I extended my oil change interval from 3,000 to 6,000 miles per the manual.
