Yes. The arrow (triangle) should point toward the front when the caliper is installed.

I put a set on my R1100R over a year ago and they seem to be working fine.

How much fuel you put in depends on how much fuel is already in the tank. How do you determine when you need fuel?
I reset my trip meter when fueling.

The 850R and 1100R use the same tank, with a capacity of 21l (5.547 US Gal.) One part number = one tank!

Never heard of an ABS gas tank. There is only one part number listed for the R1100R gas tank.

It is not necessary to remove the tank to reseat the cable.

I don't know if you already mentioned this in this thread, but does your rear brake disc still heat up? Do you think that made a mileage difference? I ask because my front discs stay cool, but rear disc does heat up considerably. Maybe I use the rear brake too much? I think the rear disk is absorbi...

I don't know if it will work with the R1150R but a trick with the R1100R is to put a spacer under the front seat bracket. I did it with my R1100R and raised the bracket about 3/8", it levels the seat quite a bit.

I have a set that I use in cold weather. They do help but the Velcro mounting system leaves a lot to be desired. I made brackets to hook around the lip on the gas tank at the top and clamps to fit the engine protection bars on the bottom. I can't help with pictures since they are not on the bike at ...

Just turn the ignition on. Do you hear the fuel pump run? If not make sure you plugged it in when you put the tank on. It is a black plug on the right side just up under the tank.
