Bad luck about that. I'm glad you didn't get hurt.
I'd prolly repair the damage, but that's me and I'm guessing that's you too!

Thanks for your help Keith
That's for sure. I've posted topics to the board now 4 times in the last 6 months and am lucky to get any "views". I'm used to getting NO REPLIES. Must have been something I said... The board used to be so helpful and friendly, don't know what happened  ------------------------------...

Electrical - how to find unused REAR SPEAKER wiring on RT
I want to use the presently unused rear speaker outlet on my RT and connect it up to AutoCom. Then I'll be able to use the radio's fader to switch between front (dingle speakers) and rear (AutoCom for helmet). Previous topics indicated that even tho there are no REAR Speakers fitted to an RT, the st...

BMW Karuah River Rally, Frying Pan Creek NSW Australia
Hey you guys. I've been away for a little while, but still as interested in you guys and motorcycling as ever. In fact I've just been on my first Rally. Freaking uncomfortable on a 38mm mattress for a big bloke. But I survived :) Here a few pics of my pleasure http://malcolmmckay.customer.netspace.n...

I guess I'm lucky, roads around the Hunter Valley are great!
Cool MIXR Thought it would be slippery. Although never having ridden in anything more in need of focus than fresh rain, I didn't really know what it would be like riding a road where there maybe ice around the corner... sshheesh What's this stuff about "salt" on the road? We don't get it h...

It's certainly a beautiful landscape, no doubt
MIXR I've never ridden on roads like that. Are roads like that often in your part of Oz? Would you have described it as dangerous... or did you feel like you still had traction? It's certainly a beautiful landscape, no doubt, but two wheels. Tell me what it was like. Maybe I'm thinking of Paul Simon...

Horn problems, she sounds real sick.
I broke my own rule the other day and used my garden hose to remove all these dead insects from up under the fairing on my RT. The damn things are soooo hard to reach by hand. The exercise generally leaves me with skinned knuckles. I'd been for a weekend ride into the country with a bunch of fellas ...

Fabulous photographic journal
DJ
Fabulous photographic journal.
I had a Yamaha TY250 Trials bike back in the 70's. Ssshhh can't imagine being able to put it through her paces now tho. I spent most of my weekends in the bush, finding things to conquer.

Very cool Darth "Ride her right and she purrs like a big, dangerous cat. Ride her wrong and the claws & teeth come right out. I'm in love." Got to see this baby, she sounds unbelievable. Incidentally... "Loves to wheelie and scare me silly. And she tempted me and led me down the p...

Very cool hans
Group ride... you're not wrong.
When they all took off together, I thought "well co-ordinated start".
It wasn't 'til I got a shot showing the tracks that I realised what the capper was.

Finally some pics of my new R1150RT
It was a beautiful day today in the Hunter Valley. I went for a ride to a little town named Paterson. Found this neat place amongst a crop of Poplar trees and couldn't resist taking some pics of my new R1150RT. I like to call her "Shadowfax". Today she was fully endowed with side bags, top...
