He did Dyno's etc and has set out all his findings.
He posts irregularly on the board but his personal R1150R graphs the search for the perfect combination.

I was at a very high point on a mountain. I killed the motor (with the key Very Happy ), snicked the ST into neutral. and proceded to coast the next 10 miles at up to 80 MPH thru sweepers and twisties in absolute silence, brakes worked fine only required a little more lever pressure. ...with premiu...

We are up to $1.30 per litre of premium and about $1.20 unleaded petrol. The positives are that the proliferation of these ridiculous sized 4WDs that only ever see the wilds of inner urban areas will be stemmed. It has got to be hurting some people as the price was only 90-98c litre less than 6 mont...

Great pix. Brings back memories. I remember when i first saw Stonehenge i could not believe how small it was. I think you build up expectations of well known places and then the reality is different. (Like the pyramids where the shanty town comes right up to the edge. You only ever see the postcard ...

Also DJ - Many of the 'good' roads are closed over Winter. Only accessible by tracked vehicles. I do regular trips over the mountains to Corryong - We should meet up next summer. Maybe a 'bash' of some sort? Sounds like a plan! Feb/March/April would be ideal. There should be a few takers even if it...

DJ, and other Vic/NSW riders can book in for the BMWMCC Club ride over the Cup weekend. http://www.bmwmccvic.org.au/event_calendar.html Boxerboy, Feb March would be a perfect time around there. The last club ride on cup weekend included the best of both worlds. It had snowed for two days before we a...

That does look great on the bike. Thanks for taking the pix for us. Like I said, you do have to see it in context on the bike before making a final assessment. I like it. In fact, i think i like it the most out of all the 1150R screens, although the BMW touring screen is also a great looking screen....

I have never been able to see a pic of this screen actually on the bike to get a comparison to the other shields. Ditto..........Have never seen this fitted to our bike which is the only way to get a good idea of how it looks. As it stands, it looks a bit dowdy in the pic compared to the others ava...
