This book also has an excellent chapter on suspension and adjustment geared to the average rider. http://books.google.com/books?id=akcdioKmRk8C&dq=total+control+lee+parks&printsec=frontcover&source=bn&hl=en&ei=A7XEScpngoS3B82D_McK&sa=X&oi=book_result&resnum=5&ct=r...

Re: Chicago BMW customer service?

Not a happy customer here also.
I have an outstanding order since 10/19 for an oil filter, crush washer, nut and wave washer. Needless to say I purchased the filter and crush washer elsewhere and don't need the nut and washer yet. My business will be going elsewhere from now on.

# Eyeball The adhesive will attach itself to the eye protein and will disassociate from it over time, usually within several hours. Periods of weeping and double vision may be experienced until clearance is achieved. Use of a warmed 3% sodium bicarbonate solution to wash eyes repeatedly may assist i...

Re: Tire pressure?????????

I don't know if this applies to street riding but here goes. I attended a CLASS training course at VIR a month ago. The instructors there said your tire pressure should increase about 10% when the tires are up to temp. I weight about 180 with gear and through trial and error 34F - 38R seemed to work...

Re: Helllllllllp needed with tire change.

A small C clamp loosely tightened with a piece of leather or heavy rubber to protect the rim also works well for keeping the top bead from creeping around the rim.

Re: R1150R For Tall Guy

I'm 6'1" with a 34' inseam. I have a Sargent seat and use a dead sheep also. In the beginning it was a little uncomfortable but my old body has adapted to it.

As you stated there are numerous options to make it more comfortable.

Sorry I'm running a little late here. First -- I'd like to thank Scotty and Jim for all the time and effort that they put in. It turned out really great in spite of the weather. Second -- I'd like to give my son Mike some credit for pulling into a BMW dealer on a Honda and was able to get 4 tee shir...
