I believe the twin spark models were made in '04 in the U.S.
I have an '03 and it is a single spark.

I just put on the Omegas on yesterday. Very fast delivery from Omega. I did not take the tank off. I did cover the cylinder head and the surrounding area with a old t-shirt. A little gas did come out and I did pinch closed the lines with some cardboard and vice grips-did not want to damage the lines...

I have had my bike for a year and have also found a "false nuetral" inbetween 4-5 a few times. Hardly ever happens-but it has happened. Let me know what the dealer says. I hope it's not anything serious.

Are your clamps on the hoses now or is this something that you clamp on the hose when your ready to take the tank off?
I was going to replace the disconnects with some brass ones that were mentioned on this site earlier.

I had wanted to do the exact same thing but the owners manual said not to rotate the grips at all. I am planning on doing what MIXR did, but I was going to use something else. I really couldn't figure why they didn't want the grips to be moved. Afterall, what if you changed out the handlbars totally...
