Re: Which tankbag for new R1200R

Has anyone tried the Cortech Super 14 magnetic mount on the 1200? I had one on my R1150R and IIRC it was a nice fit and about the right size for my needs.

Thanks

Re: I'm Back

Hey Marty, good to see your post. I've been thinking the same thing. My little F650GS twin, while very economical and reliable, is just not "doing it" for me. I'm looking hard at a R1200R. Hi Phil, After two months without the RT and only the thumper GS(love that little bike) I was missin...

I'm Back

Hey All, I've been a member here since I purchased my 05 R1150R. Been away for a couple of years since I sold it(other than to attend The Bash). I regretted selling it when it was gone. So..... I picked up a new to me 2010 Alpine White R1200R on Saturday. Great bike, all the R1150R was and then some...

Re: Beakster Bash May 2011

The Bash continues to be a highlight of the month of May for me. It was great to meet up with old acquaintances from previous Bashs and put some more faces to names(rdsmith3, ctRider & son, Frank1150r & Mitchell). The weather held true to form with at least 1 day with some rain involved(not ...

That's a bummer Vann. Good that you caught it before you hit the road.

See you next year.

Re: BB7 Harriman, Tennessee

It was good to see familiar faces from previous Bashes as well as the new faces that were there. Doc and I rode together to and from the Bash as he stated in his post. Fridays ride was well chronicled by John (Dr Strangelove). Look Out on the Skyway we stopped at to let the 18 wheeler and Porsches c...

Re: Looking to install a voltmeter?

Here is another option, http://www.datelmeters.com/Misc/20pcdcm_dim.html . It won't fit where the clock goes but is small, accurate and weatherproof, other than the rear terminals being exposed.
