Sounds like something happened , am still not running the canister we are going to put it under the tank (non abs) as Rob says it...

Re: Bike dies with clutch out
Does it die regardless of the rpm's? does it feel like a switch shutting it down or does it just chug until it dies like its starving for fuel?

Re: Front Brake Pads
New tires really make a diff. I use Carbone Lorainne sintered pads from Beemer Boneyard (Hope I spelled that right) they work well, the back pads were going so I bought front and rear but really did not have to change the fronts yet just cleaned the front calipers and pads looks like 5-10k still on t...

Re: valve adjustment Needed or not
Last Sat CycleRob showed me how to adjust the valves which turned out were barely out of spec and also we filled the manometer I made modeled after Robs with rubbing alcohol, splash of water and food coloring and then tuned the throttle bodies which also needed practically no adjustment ( I think Ro...

Re: Batteries and cold weather

Re: Batteries and cold weather
I would think a good battery would last for weeks if not a couple of months without charging , Mine has been in a un heated garage for 5-6 weeks (Pc-680) since I got a new to me pickup it turned over about two times and fired right up. I dont ever use battery tenders and don't ever recommend them to...

I put gs hand guards on my 850r for about $40 i think they were from a 1100gs but they look like my buddies 1150 gs as well. Am thinking they came from Max's BMW. They work ok just not very pretty. No modifications just bolt on. Good Luck

Re: the music in your ears !!
I agree many of the songs listed are great songs but I always thought it had to be AZBMWRIDER'S choice ! A close second would be Bob Seger's " Roll Me Away"
