I did NOT care for the Z6s when the condition of the road/weather was in question. not as sure feeling as I would like. also did not like to fall in as easy as I wanted.

ok, if you wanted a street tire that had the following qualities, what tire would you recommend?

1)decent mileage(7K+) on the rear
2) excellent traction for twisties
3) excellent traction for wet roads
4) minimizes cupping/midline flattening

the stock seat definitely does that. get a sargent seat or other aftermarket seat. they're better. still will get some jewel compression but much better

What the frush is a ferule?

so the back of my speedo is showing the poor european dna in it's chrome plating. some pitting going on and what looks like may be the early signs of peel.

is this piece made of a plastic? if so, can it be rechromed? how about powder coating?

my tire's only sign seemed to be the widening bald spot along the midline. I did hit some highway repair sections on the way home and i'm sure the grating of the road sped things up. hey anyone who wants to answer...can I add a tire other than the Z6 to the rear if I keep the Z6 on the front? also, ...

I was at the bash last week, my Z6 rear looked fine before and during. Ride home the 220 miles and... :shock: nice metal wires or cords showing through in the middle of the tire. I've been keeping proper tire pressure but i think I only got about 7K on this tire! I guess with the crappy roads and la...
