Re: Help with dissasembly of the inside of the exhaust
CycleRob - Excellent work on the gutting out of the exhaust can, your quite the resourcefully one! Heres ya a challenge and if i had an extra cat and exhaust can I'd do it my self adding your muffler mod. I've always liked a symmetrical exhaust and have been wanting to have that look on the R bike. ...

Anyone install grease fitting on their center stand?
I bought some 1/8” grease fittings today and before I drill and tap the stands I wanted to check to see if someone had already done it and how it workout. I plan on doing both center and side stand.

Re: Windshield tinting
Not sure if this will work or not so you may have to test it out on some other piece of clear plastic. Find a hobby store that deals with model cars and get a can of one of the candy colors you like. Usually candy sprays are translucent so this might work, let us know how it works.

Re: Any Formula 1 fans here
I used to go to the races in Indy. I was there for the Michellin tire debacle. Then the year Montoya took out half the field. That track was cursed I tell you. Looking forward to the Texas race next year. I'll be there. What is the ETA on the track up in Austin? I went by there last spring but real...

Pilot road 3's installed
My PR2's were down to the ware bars and were starting to be nasty handling that triangle shape with the top cut off, not fun to say the least. So on went a set of PR3's last night, mount and balanced and the clock starts at 23485 miles. Hopefully these will go for 6-8k miles. I think the PR2's got a...

Oh yea! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FTGzMrq5d04 I was about 4 years old for this, watched it from my grandmother's second floor balcony. Not F1 but I can still hear and see the cars running down the seawall, sure had an impact to say the least http://havana5060.blogspot.com/2007/02/gran-premio-de...

Re: I did a big no no Sunday evening
Before you adjust anything else look at step 5 in the zero-zero instructions. Don't adjust the TPS just check the voltage and see if what you did changed it. If it is between .370 and .400 VDC you are fine. If not adjust the left throttle stop screw until it is. Yep that's the cure! Thanks U funny ...

Ok scold me all you want I have it comming.... I did a big no no Sunday evening. Here's my excuse..... I had been out in the garage most of all Saturday and part of Sunday working on 4 lawn mowers, it's my therapy that pays for my motorcycling. Took a breather/chill (no beer) a bit later after the t...

Re: ABS question
Good info garr2, now we are getting to some nuts and bolts here.
I'm going to assume that the 1200 you refer to is an ABS system without power assist, is the correct?
Given that the servo is the culprit in the system. Can the servo be disabled on my R bike and still have ABS function?

towerworker - I to got use to it. I guess my point is having proper control feed back as opposed to improper feed back. Is this wide spread or is it nominal?

Continue squeeze to about just past 1/4 hardly anything some but not much then somewhere close to 1/2 start to grab t...

Re: looking for pictures
Hi, you could try this link, it's a Rockster but it is in blue with white but the white could easily be changed for silver, I think it looks good. Once on the page it is about 3/4 the way down. http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=21251937968#!/group.php?gid=21251937968&v=wall Dang company fir...
