Re: Spark Plug Socket?

What brand of spark plug socket is everyone using for plug changes? My Craftsman 5/8" will not fit in the tunnel (single spark). Too big OD. Wrench in the toolkit can remove a socket but won't let you use a torque wrench for re-install. BMWRT.com site search talks about a Kobalt/Lowes socket w...

96 in second seeems a big much ... Yeah, I think gearing and redline wouldn't let that happen! But it sounded good. I wound my bike up in 2nd today.... 70mph equates to the beginning of the redline - around 7,500 revs. To get 96 you'd have to be doing around 9K revs - so assuming the limiter allows...

Riceburner: Unfortunately, you've got your lights mounted about where my windscreen is. That won't work for me. Thinking I want to use the screws that are UNDER the headlight set. P I'm considering moving them down so that they're (more or less) on the same horizontal line with the other lights - a...

I have PIAA1100Xs on my Rockster : pic : http://homepages.nildram.co.uk/~r1c3m1tz/riceburner/images/rock/piaa1.jpg They're mounted onto my custom headlight panels/brackets - but I'm thinking about moving them down onto the headlight supports as long as they'll clear the oil-cooler-covers ok. I've us...

You want to stop Terrorism?? Harden your hearts and pull out of all Middle Eastern involvment, INCLUDING Isreal, then deal with the winners of the inevitable bloodbath. That fight has been going on for years and nothing the "west" can do will stop it. Getting involved just makes us targets...

135mph indicated.

Funny thing - run at that speed for more than a few seconds and the bike berates you by resetting the clock to 1:00.... happened to me twice now. :?:

London Rocksters

We're multiplying!! Spotted an Ed80 with GS screen crossing the River at Putney on Wednesday evening about 6:30ish - anyone?? And a German registered Tigerstripe going past Harrods this morning towards Scotch Corner. :D:D Rocksters are so rare it always makes me look twice when I see one on the road...

Just to muddle things.... I've broadened my outlook now to include a couple of Pirelli's offerings :

The Scorpion Sync (standard on the Ducati Multistrada),
and the Diablo Strada (which is a re-treaded Z6 by the looks of it).

Anyone have any experience with these??

Cheers Pat - I have to admit I've only used the Z4 on my ZXR400 - it was ok - but not great.

I like the Z6 most at present (as I said), but would like to try something different, just in case it's better. The search for knowledge is never-ending. ;)

Tyre Thread : Michelin Pilot Roads vs Avon AzaroST (45/46)

It's that time again.... I HAVE done a search, and there's masses of threads - if anything it's information overload .... :( So - What are people's views on THESE TWO TYRES ALONE : Michelin Pilot Roads vs Avon Azaro ST 45/46s (I have used 010's, 020's, Pilot Sports, Z6's, M1/Z6 mix, Z6/02...

Whatever works.

Each situation is different, each response should be dependant on the situation.
