Take the thing apart before trying to diagnose blindly. Could be any of a number of things. How many miles on the bike????

I've been getting good mileage with the Angel GTs, 6-7K. Front wears out first for me on the R bikes. I noticed that Pirelli has a new Angel GT 2, hope they don't stop the original Angel GT.

Thanx for the info. Our S bike just got the Ohlins rebuilt by Ohlins USA and upgraded the exhaust to the Ztechnik last summer when we bought it.

Just rode our R1100S yesterday, that bike has more get up and go than our R1150R bikes. I think the 1100 engine has better flow with the cams and exhaust systems. It handles so nice, I'm hoping the Olins I'm putting on the R1150R ABS helps to get closer to the S but probably dreaming. Also installed...

Can't see why they shouldn't be OK.

Sounds as if something isn't in spec with the cables at the Box, rework it.

All my other makes of bikes have lubing the cables as a maintenance item, Harley, Suzuki, Honda. BMW is the only one that doesn't. I've never taken one apart, and never heard of anyone having that as a problem.

I used Tri-Flow for the cables. I actually have it for my S1000XR chain, it's good for all kinds of stuff.

I was told the same thing. I did it anyway and it worked very good. I couldn't figure out why they say not to lube them so I did.

I've lubed the cables before and it made a hugh difference. Also be aware of the hand grip sticking/pinching on the bar end weight.

The servo brakes work very well. They take some getting use to however. I have three R1150R, 1 with and 2 without. I like the power brakes best. They also take a bit more involved maintenance but once you educate yourself about them it's just not to bad. Try them for awhile before you poo can them.

Ours haven't leaked, however there was a learning curve the first time we replaced one.

Be careful. We already drag the stock pegs and yours are looking really low now.

The stock one has always worked well for us.
