Starters have three problems - gunked up (readily solved with a good cleaning), bad internals (replace or repair), gremlins (sometimes they just do that, then stop).

Thanks for the heads up! Best Western Harriman is either closed, in renovation, or booked solid from March through August. Might be the TVA clean-up crews in town or it might be nothing.

1-3-5% problems do occur. But not to me or anyone I know (well, one I know and one I sorta heard about).
