I got home safe and sound - 400 miles in 8.25 hours. Although, the heavy fog on I-77 in the VA mountains and the heavy rains for a couple of hours made it a bit of a challenge. This was a great Bash. On December 4, I returned home from an 18-day hospitalization that included two operations. While I was in the hospital, the R1150R.net east coast rumor mill got fired up, and before I knew it, I had received get well wishes from R1150R.net board members in at least 6 states. This Raleigh person will be taking NC96 to U.S. 58 at South Boston and then west to Marion and Hungry Mother. It's not a bad ride if the weather isn't too bad.
