I just made my reservation. Got the last "single" room available. I should be arriving on Thursday in the afternoon sometime. Lil Chubb is happy now!

I have one campsite reserved and I REALLY hope I am able to make it up there when the time comes. I love that place! Too bad about the Appletree. We'll need to find another "go-to" breakfast location.

Take it to a BMW motorcycle mechanic. It's basic stuff but you'll never get it right following directions from an internet forum.

Update on the stalling issue. I took everything back off the bike to remove and inspect the air box reassembly that the mechanic's inept helper attempted to put together. He had left off a couple of parts and really mixed up the oem screws and such. I had to replace the o-ring in the crankcase vent ...

It's not a choke. ....And for the poster who has stopped using yours because it is sticky. You just need to take it apart and clean it good. But be VERY careful not to lose the little spring...which resembles a ball point pen spring.

Mac, also I've noticed that in NC they put a lot of really abrasive stuff in the asphalt mix and tires wear a lot faster on those roads. That's why I ride REALLY fast across NC to get to Virginia and West "By God" Virginia.
