Re: Chicago BMW Motorcycle - Doomed?
Sorry to hear about your problem with them. They have been one of the less expensive places to buy parts with the 20% discount, but I have heard mixed reports the last few years. Cyclerob says he gets parts quickly. I have had the same experience as you on several occasions and only after telephoni...

Re: System case locks
Well thanks again for the help / pictures. After reading & considering, I think I'll make my own bag [locater ]/[ holder ] in the further out location & use the stock peg & bracket. Lowering the pipe is done. Might look for a 'cat' eliminator later. Want to live with it quite for a bit f...

System case locks
Picked up a set of used system cases for my Roadster.
How do I remove the lock cylinders from the cases?
Not a big deal, but I'd rather need just the one key.
Thanks, Ron

R1150R Fairing
I know Parabelum makes a 'smaller' Fairing/shield, & I'm aware of Hannigan,[had one]..... But I was wondering if any of you have seen anything else that would look good on a Roadster?.."04" I have a touring shield,it's fine for protection as far as that goes,..I just think a medium siz...

Re: Blue Ridge Parkway
Don't know if your gone already but. As others have said, gas is often not easy to find. Don't wait till ya {Need} cause ya may have to travel a good distance to the gas, & then back to the Parkway. There are two state run lodges along the way. Very nice, great food, but pricey. Also the one I s...

Billy Joel museum
Anyone ever been to the Billy Joel museum? Or planning on going?
It is in Oyster Bay NY . The magazine coverage it recieved was good. Said to have a good selection of motorcycles, & all brands represented.
I'm hoping to see it later, maybe fall ?
Ron.
