My 08' RT had ESA which really worked great for different riding conditions.
Does the new FGT have that available?

Re: F800GT buyers?
I loved my RT for long rides and short one's as well. At 550lbs it felt lighter then my R1150R.
ST feels much lighter but I have only ridden one, not owned.
I surely would consider the new GT if my bike fund was actually funded.

Re: New toy!
Been riding a mild MX track on a 98' CR250 just for exercise and keeping me sane on the Uly which I traded away for a 89' Oldwing and a nice wad of cash.
Dayum comfy ride and handles better then I expected.
Maybe get back to Touring again?

Well after taking many a fall and killing the battery on the KLX at a club ground that I joined I picked a 94' KDX 200 smoker that's upgraded by Fredette Racing. I'm ready for single track!

The GT would be a perfect bike for someone like me who rides in colder climates, solo and prefers lighter better handling, more wind protectio Perfect!
