High Mileage Ad, anyone have a copy?
A zillion years ago there was an ad in the Scientific American. Two page spread as I recall. To your left there's a group of maybe 20 or so folks standing in a bunch. Next to them is a group of maybe 6, then a group of 3 and finally a single older guy standingin a set of neat but well worn leathers...

Re: considering R1150R
I am looking to go out for a couple of short rides after work and at least one good longer ride on weekends. A good ride after a full day at the shop is a great way to recharge. Having a machine you're really in tune with makes it all the better. To each his own, but I can't get enough of the RR. H...

Taller Fallert
I worked in heavy gage vacuum forming for a long time.
I wouldn't mind having a taller / less curved one myself.
I may be 'home-brewing' a prototype over the winter in polycarbonate as I still have sereral contacts in the business.
Will let you know if I get around to it & it works out well.

Favorite boots?
I want to buy a pair of motorcycle boots and am seeking input. Anyone had X-element brand? Aerostitch Combat touring? Cortech touring? Willing to pay big $ for big quality (Aerostitch) bus as I have never seen them in person not ready to go top $ without feedback. I live in New York & ride down ...

Ride to work
Had to stop & take some pics on the way in. Hit a bat with the windshield & thought a stop for pics would get enough daylight to see the deer.
Location is Fingerlakes Region of New York.

Windscreen
I have no idea, was on the bike when I picked it up (used) a few weeks ago.
Dealer mechanics liked it too.
Downside is that is wobbles up & down.
Upside is that it wobbles up & down creating a modulating affect.
A little concerned about premature lamp failure, but appreciate extra vis.

Come to Upstate NY
The Finger Lakes are gorgeous.
Lots of great state parks, good roads, places to stay & if you feel like it you can go to NYC or Canada in a day.
