Brake Bleeding using the MityVac suction tool

Post by whaycoc »

In another post on this page we were discussing using the TwinMax and then adjusting valves. Another common service job is the replacement of brake fluid. I have a written procedure for that operation I would like to share here. The original document has been updated and modified somewhat by me - I can't credit the original author - I feel certain he/she wouldn't mind our using it here. These instructions use the MityVac brake bleeding tool.

This tool can be bought at a number of automotive sources - Here is a URL for JCWhitney: They cost about $35.00 most places.
