The Job
Removed the yellow fork covers because I think they are hideous. Found black fork legs underneath more acceptable.
Hand painted the peg assemblies and rear plastic body panels - not too bad a job but not concourse quality.
Ordered the BMW panels via Chicago BMW in the Dark Graphite... 75 days for delivery but worth the waiting.
Will leave the headlamp silver for now. Getting a new windscreen later - in dark smoke probably - waiting for a Cee Bailey's version or whatever San Jose has....
Dean - Interested, yes. Is it black/dark? Can you get me a pic first? And a ballpark on the price? Thanks.

Do That
Dean,
Do keep aware of how that can moves around and if it becomes available, at some reasonable price, I'll probably want it - in black!. Also looking at ceramic coating -- but don't know much about that.
Thx
Mike
PS
I'll be calling San Jose's Lisa next week.

Faster, Smarter, Stronger than Before....
Well, rode the beast a couple of times since the conversion. I find it faster, more supple in the corners and better behaved at speed. I am suddenly a better rider and I believe my hair is growing back in.
