Scottish Highlands

Post by ED80 »

This is the first time I have posted on this forum. I live at the start of the Scottish Highlands in a place called Perth. I took the K12R out today for it's for real ride and had a fantastic run through Amulree and the Sma' (small) Glen just north of where I stay. The K12 handled brilliantly and the ESA was just awesome for the 100 miles or so of changeable, narrow and twisty roads. I didnt' have my camera with but will remember next time and post some photos.

For those of you in the UK or anywhere that have never travelled the Highlands of Scotland - get your ass up here it is breathtaking especially with the sun beating through and temperatures in mid 70's (Low 20's for you metrics out there). The K12R is just the best Bike I have ridden, although the wind up here can make for a twitchy ride at times. I also have an ED80 which is no comparison but also a great bike on our roads.

Hope to post more in the future. Here are my bikes, the pics are a wee bit dark but will do better next time on the trail......
