Congrats Big!
BMW is up to SW load V7 now.
There have only been great comments about this load. Appears BMW has finally fixed the KR/KS throttle issues. IMHO, go for it! If you have not already, also check the KR section of this site for more info.
The mechanic at your dealer has a CD of V7, that he load on your bike through a laptop. (They should have done that already.)
Let us know your impressions as you two become better acquainted!!!

Congratulations Big! Welcome to the wonderful world of the wild beast. Nice color scheme (same as mine).
I like my sport screen. The little side parts outside the grooves actually keep the wind off your hands.
Mine is in the shop getting the 7.0 update as we speak (er.. write), but I won't be able to pick up until Friday. I'll report as soon as I get a feel for any differences.

Ooh yea! The 7.0 update did the trick. No more hesitating, no more backfiring, just smooth power. I think it's better than originally, before the 6000mile recalibration that screwed it up. The lowspeed early throttle response is definitely much better. I found myself leaping off the line and out of first and second until I got used to it. Still only 39 or 40mph on a trip with sustained 80mph. The beast is back and better than ever.
