Routing wires outside of headlight bracket

Post by cswett »

Hello, I need to give myself a little bit more slack on my brake, signal, clutch lines in order to install an aeroflow wind screen and bar backs. I think I would be fine if I could get the lines routed outside of the headlight bracket but I am stumped on how to do it. Does the bracket have to be removed? Do I need to undo the front turn signals? Remove the headlight? I'm looking at section 62.6 of the PDF BMW service manual. Do I need to take all that stuff off? Eternally grateful for any guidance.

Most people don't do what's right, they do what's most convenient and then repent
