Welcome to the forum. I believe it is possible to convert your 1150r to gs, but it would be expensive to buy the parts. You will need the complete front suspension, mud gaurds, wheels, lights, instruments, screen, bodywork, fuel tank, seat and rear suspension unit.
It would probably be cheaper to sell your 1150r and buy a gs.
Or if you just want a bit more rough road capability for your 1150r you could try fitting Avon Distanzia tyres.

To raise the rear of the bike you could fit the shorter rear torque arm from the gs. It is number 12 in the picture below. Part number is 33172314179

As Hank suggested, purchase a paralever torque arm from the GS or S sport model, add new shocks (Ohlins or whatever pleases you) and ride. You will also need to modify your center stand as well, if it get too high. I would not convert the bike entirely over to a "GS" though. I went that route with the wheels front forks, rear shock, etc, from a GS. My Rockster handled like crap. I put it back to stock, added Ohlins and bought an off rode capable bike for that need.

Thanks for your kind advise.I have changed my mind about this conversion because it is not wise thing to do.I have a Remus exhaust and Y pipe.It missfires some time when you close the throttle. How this problem can be corrected ?jas wrote:As Hank suggested, purchase a paralever torque arm from the GS or S sport model, add new shocks (Ohlins or whatever pleases you) and ride. I have the complete Remus System as well and have not had the "popping" that many have experienced, for whatever reason. You might try the search function to see if others have made corrections to this.

I think the popping is caused by a bad seal at some of the joints allowing air to enter the system. Try putting some exhaust sealing paste in the joints where the header pipes enter the y pipe and where the silencer joins to the y pipe.
I have a y pipe fitted on my bike and it pops, bangs and spits flames out of the silencer, which can be a source of amusement at times.
It can also be very dangerous; I was almost shot at when the Suzuki Savage I was riding backfired on the over run as I was approaching a military checkpoint near the Turkish border.
I imagine that in certain areas of Pakistan a popping exhaust could lead to a similar experience.
Ride safe and remember to duck every time the exhaust bangs. lol.
