Not sure if flickr is working to display my photo. May have to try photobucket.

Some really lovely looking bikes on here.
I do like the clocks on the R1150R better than the R12R in my opinion that is.

Found it's a Russell Day Long seat. It was what was fitted when I bought it last month.

That's a real bonus, cause they're expensive. For now I'll stick to mine.

I like the piping and stitching on that! I wouldn't mind having the low seat for in town riding, the wings on the day long get in the way sometimes trying to back out of a parking spot.

The beak was removed by the previous owner. I assumed the remaining fender was what was normally under the beak, but not sure where it really came from. I like it. It's not the "fanciest" fender, but gets the job done and looks a pretty clean.

Cheers!

The short can looked better and sounded absolutely brilliant. Alas it got gouged up in a prang.

It was louder but I loved it.

Past tense ? Is a "prang" an accident ? Hope not !

Hi,

Just bought this bike. I am in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada. She is a 2001 model. I hope I can get the pics to post but I am pretty much brain dead when it comes to this sort of stuff.

Your brain is much more alive than you think and congrats on a nice looking bike. Many happy miles to you.
