Hoping to leave in two weeks for west Texas from Virginia. To you road warriors: what's the best addition to my Sargent seat for long spells in the saddle? I've got 1400 miles one way to my destination (San Angelo) and will most likely go home by way of Kansas City several days later.
Most I've done in one day is a bit over 500 miles so that's the goal +/-.

Suggestions?

Another vote for Air Hawk. Fits on my Sargent seat like it was made for it. It will need less air than you might think. At first I started using mine inflated with enough air that my butt didn't feel any contact with the seat. Then I read somewhere that you should inflate it to where you are completely lifted by air and then open the valve just until you feel your hip bones touch the seat. It's true. That's where I find the greatest comfort. On really long days I like to play with slightly different levels of inflation every few hours.

Going to order one. The Airhawk R seems to be the right one. Two sizes available, large and and small. I'm thinking the large? I've a Sargent also.
