Sargent Seat Opinions

Post by Tundra Dweller »

Since the 2002 stock seat has gotten mushy I'm considering a Sargent replacement.
Anyone else have one for some time? Opinions?
Thank you!

I love mine. It has been the only seat I have had so I can't compare to others.

I've had a Sargent seat on my rockster from the beginning...14 years. The quality speaks for itself. The small storage compartment in the bottom is very handy for the manual and other docs.

One thing that is really good is that its flat and fairly wide so you can supplement/fit an air cushion which is a real butt saver on 800 mile days.

Probably the best of the best for the beemer.

+1 what Kirby said, the best.

+2
Bought used Sargent from another member here, good seat for the past 12 years, and continues to serve on Rockster1 under new ownership.

Don't have one yet for Rockster2, but in my Christmas list.

Awesome! Thanks guys. I don’t know why I even question it because I have two right now on the Bandit 1250 and Sertao 650. Just wanted to confirm they worked for the R’s.
I found a nice used, front and rear for $300.
Getting it as much for two up as the drivers section. The stock foam has broke down to the point of butt burn before one tank is empty.

It's a definite improvement over stock. I waited a long time before getting one, and then kicked myself for not doing it earlier.
