exterior temp gauge stuck on 73.4 F

Post by LeonardoNYC »

Hey all. Recently my temp gauge is reading the same temp see above. Wont' change. Anyone ever experience this? Any fix? Should I try disconnecting battery or anything else?

Thank you.

I have no idea. Could be the temperature sensor, the wiring between the sensor and the instrument cluster, the big connector at the instrument cluster, wiring in the cluster, or some solid-state circuitry within the cluster. Some of these might be accessible to you.

Did you find a cause for this misbehavior?
